GP Registrars/medical students
As a training practice, we are busy assisting the next generation of doctors. We offer places to medical students so they can observe and learn directly from our doctors on how to treat patients. GP Registrars are fully supervised by our doctors but hold their own clinics and see patients on a one to one basis.
Practice Manager/Asst Practice Manager
If you have any administrative queries, comments or complaints please contact Venetia Reville Practice Manager or Claire Poole Asst. Practice Manager who are responsible for the financial aspects of the practice.
All our Receptionists – Alison (HR), Donna, Becky, Shelagh, Judy, Sally and Debbie and our Secretary Val are here to assist our patients. They all observe strict confidentiality in all their work.
Our Receptionists will sometimes need to ask you questions regarding a query or an appointment, but these are asked to help us fully assess the situation and are always treated confidentially.
Our dispensary team – Jenny (HD), Denise, Karen, Jane and Alison dispense all monthly routine medication along with acute medication following consultations with the doctors or nurses. They also provide medipacks for our patients and oversee the delivery service.
Wider Practice Team
From March 2019 our midwifes no longer attend the practice, they are based at a HUB in Stratford. We are part of the Ruby group. Patients are asked to email RubyMidwiferyPractice@swft.nhs.uk (leaflet with all the details available from Reception). The midwife will liaise directly with the patient to arrange an appointment at the HUB.
Our practice Health Visitor is based at Studley 01789 412985 and attends the practice every other Thursday between 10.30am – midday. Development review clinics follow midday – 1.00pm. No appointment necessary.
The district nurses attached to the practice are based at Alcester. They advise on all aspects of health care, including the provision of equipment, home aids, etc.
AAA Clinic/Digital Retinopathy Clinic
As a practice, we have the capacity to offer these additional services to our patients so they do not have to travel to the hospital and possibly incur parking expenses.
